Business history and work experience
My experience in business started in 1987. In that year I established a restaurant in Stepanakert. After the war in 1995 I organized a carpet production which has 20 workers. The production was closed in 2006 because the dollar price increased. Now I reconstruct the building and will organize 3 different businesses: a restaurant, a billiard’s room and a retail shop.
I have taxi service and passenger car which work in Shushi-Stepanakert road.
Description of Business Idea
I am planning to open a restaurant and a billiard’s room in the center of Shushi.
Market Analysis and market share
The market of restaurant services is developing and open. There are 5 restaurants in Shushi. They mainly suggest national food. Annually more than 40 million drams are spent by consumers in restaurants of Shsuhi .
Tourists also are the main customers of the restaurants. The tourists annually spend only 1,2 million drams in the restaurants of Shushi because many of them do not stay in Shushi.
The organizations usually celebrate different events. About 10 organizations in a year will spend 2 million drams in restaurant services.
The billiard’s room is a new service for the Shushi. Researches show that the players will spend 500,000 drams for each month to play billiard.
Taking account that restaurant is in the center of the Shushi, near the Church Ghazanchecoc, I have experience in this sphere and good relationship with different groups. My share will be 30% for inside customers, and 50% for the tourists. My share in billiard service market will be 80%, because it will be only billiard’s room in Shushi. My monthly income will be 2 million drams.
Competition Analysis
There are 5 competitors in Shsuhsi. The main competitors for my business are 2 of them. My business advantages are:
•The location of the restaurant (It is in the center of the Shushi, near the Church Ghazanchecoc.)
•The restaurant suggests Armenian as well as European foods.
•There is a billiard’s room.
•I have a good experience in restaurant business as a manager.
•I have good relationship with different customers groups.
