Tonratun
Shushi City

Project Summary

Business history and work experience

Since 1998 I worked in Russia for three years. I had a clothes shop. I came back in 2001 and established a company to collect black and color metals. From 2007 I am working in “Shushi” hotel as an accountant, as well as manager of the current works.

Description of Business Idea

My business idea is to open a “tonratun” in Shushi. The “tonratun” will suggest barbeque from pig, sheep and cow meat, qabab, hot-dogs and other national foods. The “tonratun” will work as a fast-food. The customers can eat food in the “tonratun” staying near the tables or order and eat the food in the workplace, home and so on.

Market Analysis and market share

The fast-food services are new for Shushi. The customers make use of this service in Stepanakert. There are same restaurants and canteens which suggest food, but no one suggests fast-food and delivering service. The research showed that the population monthly spends more than 10 million drams for eating outside of home.
I am planning to have 10-15% of the hall market. The share is small because the “tonratun” only starts to work. My monthly income will be about 1 million drams.

Competition Analysis

The main competitors are 3 canteens of Shushi.
My business advantages are:
•we suggest fast-food and food delivering service,
•we suggest low prices for barbeque-3500 drams, qabab-600 drams,(the competitors prices are for barbeque -5000 drams, for qabab-1000 drams)
•the customer has choice,
•the food will be made no more than 10 minutes.
As a weak point we must say that business is new and dose not have own customers.
