Business history and work experience

In 1984 I graduated the High School of Tailors and had degree of the second level dressmaker. Till 1995 I worked in this sphere. In 1995 I came to Lisagor village and worked as a director of the school. Now I am working in the Palace of Culture. I also make dresses for the pupil of dancing and singing groups.

Description of Business Idea

My business idea is to establish cloths factory which will produce national dresses and bed linens.

Market Analysis and market share

The market of national dresses is a new for the NKR as well as for Armenia.
Taking account that there are more than 10 singing, dancing and theatrical groups in Shushi and Stepanakert we can say that in this sphere will be spent more than 400,000 drams in 2010.
There is a big demand in rent of the national dresses. The schools and other organizations can spend more than 300,000 drams to use the dresses in one or two days.
Researching shows that the population of the 6 villages annually spends 3 million drams to buy bed lines.
My income in 2009 was 400,000 drams. I am planning to increase my production and have 800,000 drams income in 2010.
My shear in bed line market is 15%:
My share in the market of the national dresses annually is:
• The rent of the national dresses- 250,000 drams,
• The sell of the national dresses- 200,000 drams.

Competition Analysis

There are not competitors in markets of the production and the rent of the national dresses. I have many competitors in bed line products market. The main competitors are retail shops which suggest variety of the bed lines. There is not another clothes factory in Shushi region.
