I established a pig breeding farm in Sarukhan village of Gegharkunik marz in 2006. The farm had 50 pigs in the beginning. The volumes of the farm have increased to 300 pigs in the past 2 years. Now the farm has 350 pigs and piglets. The volumes of the farm are foreseen to increase to 500 pigs.

The sold main products are pig meat and piglets. The main market for pig meat is the Gavar region and Yerevan. The piglets are bought by other farms for breeding.

About 9,000 kg of pig meat and 1,000 piglets are sold annually.

15 million dram is necessary to invest for increasing the volume of the farm; the investment will purchase 100 pigs.

The farm ensures 29 million dram profit, annually.
